Makeup non-toxic beauty

Hynt Beauty Organic Vegan Non Toxic Makeup

As consumers, we deserve and should expect products we ingest or put on our bodies to be toxic free. I became interested in green beauty almost a decade ago, but we still have a long way to go. Initially, the green beauty industry seemed a little limited when it came to foundations for women of color. However, many have gone above and beyond to become more inclusive. Although Hynt Beauty only offers eight foundation colors, each is mutable, which means that each shade is designed ”with a unique blend of colors to fit the varying undertones of different ethnic skin colors, most women from around the globe will be able to find a shade that will become a perfect match”.

We deserve better!

So, what should you avoid and why?

Parabens are known to be hormone disruptors

Bismuth oxychloride is a known skin irritant and is usually used as a filler in beauty products.

Talc, there is some controversy concerning talc. It sometimes laced with carcinogens (Asbestos).

Silicone can be drying and tends to clog pores.

Mineral oil tends to clog pores.

GMOs are known irritants and hormone disruptors.

Artificial fragrance is a known allergen.

Artificial preservatives are linked to endocrine/hormonal disruptions.

FD&C dyes are known to cause allergic reactions and irritation.

Carmine is a natural dye derived from bugs! Need I say more?

Phthalates are linked to endocrine disruption.
